HOMETOWN: Milton, WI…home of the “Redmen”!

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN RADIO? While in college I got a part time job at WHIT in Madison because I called the Program Director every day for two weeks…I wore him down!

HOBBIES: Riding my motorcycle.  Running, working out and racquetball.  I play a little guitar.  Otherwise, radio is my passion.

FAVORITE COUNTRY ARTISTS: Waylon, Johnny Cash, Marty Stuart, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and Brantley Gilbert.

WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU WEREN’T IN RADIO? Something in the automotive industry, mechanical engineer, selling cars…hard to say.  When I was a kid I was a gearhead.  Still am, would like to get back into that hobby when time allows and restore an old car.

FAVORITE QUOTE: From the James Stewart movie and play “Harvey”, James Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd recounts that his mother told him that you have to be oh so smart or oh so pleasant and he says, “well for years I was smart, I recommend pleasant”.  Very nice sentiment and great advice and James Stewart delivered the line as only he could!
“‘In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.’ Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant.”
