Troy Anderson grew up in the Red River Valley of Minnesota and started taking piano lessons at the age of four. His mom, a big influence in his life, introduced him to the Motown Sound and British Rock Invasion records of her childhood. As an adult, Troy Anderson remained active in music and began writing and performing in Texas. After seeing Gary Allan perform live, Troy became inspired to develop his sound, writing lyrics and producing music that connects with fans on a visceral level. Troy says he makes unique melodies for “listeners seeking to experience music that offers a fresh and authentic sound that drives emotions and memories of a particular place, time and feeling.” Troy delivers this with his new single, Gypsy Lady.
