The Janesville Figure Skating Club is hosting their annual skate show, Spice on Ice, as part of the city’s kick off to the Holidays on Saturday, Dec 3rd, 2016 from 10-11;30 am at the Janesville Ice Arena. The skaters host this event yearly to give back to the local community, there is no charge for the event, but we do ask the public to bring non-perishable food items to help stock the food pantries at the Salvation Army and ECHO to help feed those less fortunate this winter season. We also have a 50/50 raffle for Project 16:49 who help assist homeless teens in Rock County. We hope the public will come and watch some local talent, help us stock the shelves with food and raise some much needed funds for those in need this holiday season. This year’s theme is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” followed by skate with Santa after the show.
