Makes a Darn Fine Babysitter!
Just saw where the latest "Prevention" magazine has an article about doctor proven home remedies. #1...DUCT TAPE!!! Yup, our ol grey friend. Now, you and I have known for years about the virtues of Duct Tape. I have held entire cars together with Duct Tape. My first set of drums took such a beating on the road, that I couldn't sit down to play any given night without taking the Duct Tape to a cymbal stand or bass pedal. "Prevention" mag. says that if you or your child has a wart, simply use Duct Tape to get rid of it. First, clean the area...then, cut a small piece of Duct Tape to fit over the wart...then, leave it there for 3 days. File away the dead skin with an emery board and repeat till it's gone!!! Fantastic! So what have you used Duct Tape for. I like the idea of taking the kids and taping them to a wall while mommy & daddy have a nice dinner together and some conversation...or whatever...instant BABYSITTER! OK, let the creative ideas flow!

I have used black duct tape to tape the side view mirror on my car after ripping off backing out of the garage. It was last February when the wind chill was -??? (really cold) and it held the mirror in place for over a month until I got a new one! I am now considering using it to keep the interior ceiling light of my car from falling out when when I go over all the pot holes.

My friends calls me Macgyver, and my mom calls me the duct tape queen! I always am using duct tape for everything and anything. You'll never see my house, car, camper,or shed without having duct tape in it. The only other thing that comes close to the fixing capibilities of duct tape may be baling wire, that too can be used to fix most things. What better combination could you have? (HMMM? other than peanutbutter & chocolate that is.)

You know what they say...
Duct Tape is like The Force. There is a dark side and a light side, and it holds the universe together!

I've patched the knees of my jeans with it.
The secret is to slap it on the inside of your pants, not the outside.

My husband has used duct tape as a band aid. I used white duct tape on the riped convertable top of my car. $3 compared to $1,000 + for new top.
