Why I Love Wisconsin

Why I Love Wisconsin

By Justin Brown ( Contact )   February 12, 2008

Even though I love winter and all this snow really doesn't bother me (just wish I had a snowmobile), I had to share an email sent to me by my wife! Too funny.

"Why I Love Wisconsin" (author unknown)

It's winter in Wisconsin, And the gentle breezes blow; 70 miles per hour, at 52 below!

Oh, how I love Wisconsin, When the snow's up to your butt; You take a breath of winter air, And your nose is frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful, I guess I'll hang around; I could never leave Wisconsin, 'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

How do you feel about all this snow? Like it? Love it? Hate it?

Lived here all my life. This is the way it was when I was growing up. It never bothered me then; but, now I wish Spring would just get here. Yes, we will be complaining that it's too hot in August or maybe sooner; that is our right when we live in Wisconsin. Can't wait to see what Spring and Summer is going to bring us! Yipee!

I never thought it would happen, but after only two winters here, I'm wishin' March would hurry up. Ask me again how I feel in August

I love winter in Wisconsin. There is nothing more beautiful than 6 (or 26) inches of snow on the ground. Besides in six months we'll be saying "man it's too hot I wish it would snow"

I was liking the snow until mid January. Now I want it to stop. I want warmer weather. The snow to melt. Sand and salt to wash off the roads. The motorcycle is calling to be let out of the shed. Riding Season Is NOT Coming Fast Enough!

I'd like the snow more if January had a really good holiday in it. Something with presents... and food.
