Big Red Open Update

Saturday, October 18th is the day for The Big Red Open, a 18 hole golf outing at Bass Creek Golf Course in Footville to benefit our friends and neighbors who were affected by the flooding in Rock County. The event will be highlighted when the Lonestar Troubadour, Dale Watson performs at 8pm. "Advance ticket sales have been picking up" says Event Director Big Red. Tickets for Dale Watson are $10.00 in advance and available at Wiggy's Saloon and The Exclusive Company in Janesville. Tickets are also for sale at Bass Creek Golf Course in Footville. Big Red has high expectations that advance ticket sales will continue to grow. "I was just at Wiggy's the other day and this guy came in from Brooklyn and bought 12 tickets." Big Red has plenty of good things to say about Dale Watson and his band The Lonestars. "We believe Dale Watson and his music is just the shot in the arm this event needs to be top notch. Bass Creek Golf Course has been in this from day one and I knew we could make it work." Big Red reminds everyone to get a team together for the 18 hole golf outing. "What a great opportunity to get the guys or girls out for some golf. The course is in great shape and playing in the fall is always fun." Teams can sign up at Bass Creek Golf Course by calling 608-876-6631. "It's going to be a great day for a very good cause" says Big Red. "We are fortunate to have some good people helping out in all sorts of ways, but we need to continue to push advance tickets sales to the show. We also need golf teams to book and sponsorships to be sold for the outing." Big Red has also set up a fund at any Blackhawk Community Credit Union. Donations can be made to The Big Red Open.
