*I started working at age 12 mowing lawns for summer residents in Three Lakes. Later I went to work for my family in the Heating & A/C business for a summer. My next job was as a dishwasher & waiter for the Three Lakes Rod & Gun Club. Then, at age 15 (almost 16) I got my 1st job in radio in Eagle River. The rest is history.

Working From Home

A record number of companies in North America are permitting employees to work from home, according to a survey from WorldatWork. 42% of U.S. companies surveyed say they have offered their employees work-from-home programs this year, up from 30% last year. In Canada, the jump was even bigger – from 25% last year to 40% this year.

*I've mentioned a time or two that I've been very fortunate to work some limited hours from home also. Here's a picture of my home recording studio.

I'm glad, JB, that TEACHERS are first on the list...I myself have been a teacher for 20 years on various subjects, and a learner for 45. I will be tutoring at my local high school this year. I realize that your list was speaking of those jobs people get paid for, but, because of circumstances, people volunteer (like me)and don't get money, we still put forth effort, which is the definition of work itself. If a job is fulfilling your expectations, it's an awesome job. Have a beautiful day.
