The NEW Faces of Wisconsin

The NEW Faces of Wisconsin

By Justin Brown ( Contact )   August 19, 2009

If your a fan of Wisconsin sports teams like I am, you may have noticed how Geoff Jenkins (formally of the Milwaukee Brewers) and Brett Favre (formally of the Green Bay Packers and it pains me to type that) look similar.

With all the "Favre Hoopla" I was scanning the Internet looking at old Brett Favre photos from years gone by when I remembered just how much Geoff Jenkins and Brett looked like they could be cousins. For for so many years they were the "face" of Wisconsin's 2 favorite teams. The Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.

There's a new "duo" in town that look alike. At least I think so. What do you think? Aaron Rodgers (the new QB for the Packers) and Ryan Braun (Left Fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers).

Favre is now with the Vikings. Can you believe it? And Geoff Jenkins was playing for the Philadelphia Phillies until his release earlier this year.

The torch has been passed to this 'new' generation of players in Wisconsin sports history. It's just funny to me they look alike.
