Superbowl on my daughter's terms.

Superbowl on my daughter's terms.

By Mike Austin ( Contact )   February 1, 2008

I will watch the game this weekend with my sons and talk football, eat junk, grunt, groan, spit and let the testosterone flow...then there's my 13 year old daughter. Monika likes watching UFC with her brother! But, when it comes to football, I like most other dads, struggle to connect with my oldest daughter. My friend, Joe Kelly, in Minnesota, has an organization called "Dads & Daughters" it's all about that delicate relationship. He wrote these tips for a dad to consider when watching the Super Bowl with his daughter. I will probably use some of them...some I won't but I thought it was good info. to share. Here's the address. http://www.dadsanddaughters.org/PDFs/SuperBowlTips.pdf
