The Big Red Open
The Big Red Open is October 18th, 2008 at Bass Creek Golf Course in Footville, Wisconsin.
The Big Red Open is a charitable event to help our friends and neighbors who were effected by the flooding in Rock County, Wisconsin. The event will feature a nine hole "best ball" golf outing starting at 1pm at Bass Creek Golf Course. The fee to play in the golf outing is $250.00 per foursome, which will include food following the outing. There's an Auction following golf and dinner in the Club House that will be handled by Badger State Auctions. We are currently gathering a list of items for the auction. Following the days festivities it will be time to get down to some serious "Honky Tonkin" as the Big Red Open proudly presents Dale Watson and his Lonestars. The show will be from 8pm-11:30pm with Dale playing all of his great songs that you hear each and every Sunday morning on the WJVL County hall of Fame. To find out more about Dale and his music visit Dale Watson dot com. Tickets will be availabe at Bass Creek Golf Course in Footville, at Wiggy's Saloon and The Exclusive Company in Janesville. Ticket prices are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 the day of the show. All net proceeds from this event will be donated to the United Way of Rock County.

We have limited seating for this event so the earlier you get your tickets the better. They are $10 in Advance. And if you need to you can send me a Self Stamped Addressed Envelope with a Check to the "BIG RED OPEN" for the amount of tickets you need. And mail it to:

How many tickets are available for the Dale Watson show? He has a good fan base here in Madison and I don't want the show to sell out before I have a chance to get the tickets. Do we have to come to Janesville to purchase them or is there some other way to purchase tickets? Inquiring minds want to know. Thank you!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the tickets are now available at BASS CREEK GOLF COURSE(Footville) and WIGGY'S SALOON,& THE EXCLUSIVE COMPANY(Janesville!
They are $10 in advance and $15 dollars day of show!! ANd from what I'm being told they are selling well. So don't miss out and get your tickets to help out our Friends and Neighbors effected by the flooding this past June.
