NFL Playoffs-Divisional Round

NFL Playoffs-Divisional Round

By Tim Beggs ( Contact )   January 7, 2008

I was happy to pick 3 of 4 games last weekend. The Seahawks, Jaguars and Chargers advance. My one loss was the Buccaneers. Here's who I like this weekend. Saturday afternoon the Green Bay Packers host the Seattle Seahawks. I'll be there with Big Red. The Seahawks looked good at times against Washington. They will bring pressure on defense and I predict Seattle will test the Packer secondary at times with deep passes as Green Bay is one of the most penalized teams in that area. I like the well rested Packers in this one 31-20. Saturday night the Patriots host Jacksonville. The Jaguars couldn't hold a large lead last weekend at Pittsburgh and New England in my opinion is a better team. I think The Patriots remain perfect winning this game 35-17. Sunday at noon San Diego plays at Indianapolis. The Chargers won their first playoff game in 13 years last week. I hope they don't celebrate too much because the Colts are still the defending Super Bowl champions and with all eyes on New England's perfect season, the Colts will make a statement and beat San Diego 34-21. Sunday at 3:30 pm. the Giants play at Dallas. I would like to see New York win this one. They proved me wrong last weekend, but can they beat the Cowboys this season? I don't think so. I hope I'm wrong, but I'll take Dallas 28-20. What do you think?
