Tune In/Tune Out

Tune In/Tune Out

By Tim Beggs ( Contact )   February 1, 2010

I know the Pro Bowl was played on Sunday, but I don't count that as "real football". With the "big game" coming up this weekend I'm feeling the effects of another season coming to an end. What will I watch now that football is over?

Basketball seems to be my best choice since football is over. The college action is worth checking out as we get towards the end of the regular season. I'm not a huge NBA fan, so I'll need a good reason to tune in. A Kobe vs. LaBron matchup could spark my interest.

I could watch some golf. I did tune in to the Farmers Insurance event over the weekend, but without Tiger Woods mini-golf on ESPN12 seems more fun. Bowling would be another option. Who doesn't like bowling? I love to bowl, I just don't want to watch it on TV. There's figure skating, downhill skiing, bull riding, poker, competitive eating, checkers, ping pong & knock hockey. What ever happened to barrel jumping?
