Encompassing the sounds of rock, country, gospel, blues & soul, the NewKings’ unique sound is driven by gritty vocals over American roots music.”No River” was recorded and produced at historic Sound Kitchen Studio by GRAMMY nominated & GMA Dove Award winning producer, Robert Venable.

NewKings is a band from Oklahoma. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Aaron Vaughan, Jeff Wann, Josh “Pugzly” Adams, & Caleb “Jack” Adams. Encompassing the sounds of rock, country, gospel, blues & soul, the band’s unique sound is driven by gritty vocals over American roots music.

NewKings’ origins are found in an old country church in Oklahoma. What began as an impromptu music session led to the realization that the group had something special to offer with their uniquely rich & earthy sound. Soon after, NewKings was officially formed and the group began their journey, where they found the opportunity to share the  stage with acts such as X Ambassadors and Plain White T’s, along with the President of the United States at the 2017 National Boy Scout Jamboree, and major Christian recording artists, Shane & Shane, NewSong, and Chris August. A journey that in 2019 led the group to historic Sound Kitchen Studio to work with GRAMMY nominated & GMA Dove Award winning producer, Robert Venable.
NewKings has been sought as a cross-genre band, exploring the folk, rock and alt-country scenes, a venture that has taken the group across the United States and beyond, with stops in the UK. NewKings has appeared multiple times on KTUL ABC 8’s “Good Day Tulsa”, were a special guest artist for the 2017 Boy Scout Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, and were a main-stage artist at Creation Fest UK in 2018. NewKings is an official Breedlove artist and has been nominated for the 2020 Tulsa Music Awards in multiple categories.
