Kane Brown is back with a new song called “Cool Again” that might end up serving as the lead single off his next album. Nash Country Daily notes that the track, co-written with Matthew McGinn, Josh Hoge and Lindsay Rimes, finds Brown longing for a past relationship–or so it seems. “‘Cool Again,’ at first, was a song that was about a breakup,” Brown explains. “But in today’s terms, it’s a whole new song for me because it’s like you just want everything to go back to how it was [before] this quarantine.” It’s also the first solo song Brown has released since dropping his 2018 LP Experiment. Since then, he’s put out “One Thing Right” with Marshmello and, earlier this year, “Last Time I Say Sorry” with John Legend.
