New at Noon – Luke Combs “Six Feet Apart”

Luke Combs has spent his period of self-isolation being rather productive. During his weekly livestream, he premiered “Six Feet Apart,” a new song he co-wrote a couple weeks ago with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder. “It’s about the current times and us looking forward to the day all of this is over,” he wrote on YouTube. “I hope y’all like it.” The yearning tune expresses so many of the bittersweet feelings we’re facing (“I miss my mom, I miss my dad, miss the road, I miss my band, giving hugs and shaking hands”) but works to find a silver lining: “There will be light after dark, someday when we aren’t six feet apart.”

Luke is teaming up with Miller Lite on a livestreamed concert event to raise funds for America’s out-of-work bartenders.  The broadcast will take place on Combs’ social media accounts tonight at 7pm.
