The Rock County Foster Care Program is proud to host our 7th Annual Fast Feet For Families 5K/ 2 Mile Walk event! This event highlights the value of foster families in our community.

Being a foster parent is a challenging role, which involves caring for children with trauma histories, children with special needs, working with birth families, and balancing multiple schedules. Foster parents are also responsible for providing children with a trauma focused, safe, structured, predictable, and loving environment while maintaining their already busy households.

Our goal this year is to raise $7,000 to support the Rock County Foster Care Program. The funds raised from the event will be used to help fund foster parent trainings, special foster family events, gift cards for foster parents and children as additional supports or rewards, and other miscellaneous items and activities that will benefit foster children in our community.
