Rain or shine, on Saturday, August 17, 2019, the American Legion Post 209-Wisconsin District-1 Riders , along with the Orfordville American Legion are hosting a memorial ride for Cpl Benjamin H Neal. All vehicles are invited to join this ride to honor & remember Cpl Neal.
Cpl Benjamin H. Neal, 21, an Orfordville Parkview graduate, died April 25 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
Registration for the ride starts at 12pm at the Orfordville American Legion Post 209 and kick stands up at 12:45, with 5 stops and ride ending at 5pm. High value raffles will be done at each stop. 50/50 raffle, silent auctions and numerous raffle items to suit everyone, will be on display at the Orfordville Legion upon completion of the ride. Live band performance inside the Legion, by The General & Riders III from 6pm-10pm. Ride participants will get into the dance free of charge. $10 for non-ride participants who would like to join in the after party.
Food available by BBQ Bob’s Brat Bunker. Some of the best BBQ by a veteran supporting vendor in the area.
