From the ultra-creative mind of indie rocker Ralph Covert, Ralph’s World is the rocking concert series radiating with high-energy tunes and the silliest atmosphere. Covert transforms his former band’s original songs with fun, age-appropriate lyrics that will have the kids — as well as parents and grandparents — dancing and laughing all afternoon.
Before venturing into the kid-friendly music circuit, he was a member of the Chicago-based rock ‘n’ roll band the Bad Examples. During the 1990s, the band toured throughout the United States and Europe, gaining several chart-topping hits along the way. Their debut album was named by Goldmine magazine as one of the “50 essential American power-pop albums of all-time.”
In addition to making music and touring his live children’s show, Covert is a songwriter, playwright and children’s book author. Currently, he is working on “Ralph’s World: Time Machine Guitar,” a television series that combines music, history and his awesome puppet pals in time-travel adventures playing music with true figures such as Benjamin Franklin and Ludwig van Beethoven.
