The WATERTown Film Fest screens the best new water-themed short films of all genres by independent filmmakers from around the globe. From broad comedy set in the bathroom to serious explorations of the melting of the polar ice caps, all have a home at the WATERtown Film Festival.

Films will screen on June 27 and June 28in the main gallery of the Plumbing Museum located at 80 Rosedale Road in Watertown, MA, 02472. Screening blocks begin at 6:30 PM and 7:45 PM on both days, and different films will be shown during each screening block. Post-screening there will be a Q&A with the films’ creators, and audience members will participate in the selection process for the Audience Choice Award.

Admission is free but seating is limited, so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Tickets are available online at:

* PLEASE NOTE: The Films at the WATERTown Film Festival are unrated and may not be suitable for young children. Please use your own judgement, but we suggest assuming that all films are at least the equivalent of a PG-13 rating or stronger.
