Tony Jackson returns with his dynamic new single “Country Road,” featuring his usual cast of A-list recording musicians. He may have released his first album in 2017 at the age of 40, but he’s a proud throwback to classic country. The former marine went viral a few years back with a cover of George Jones’ “The Grand Tour.” His sound is like someone plucked him right out of 60’s or 70’s and planted him in 2019. A very honky tonk and Bakersfield country sound. He’s back with another cover… this time of James Taylor’s “Country Road”, where Tony picks up the tempo a little bit, but stays true to the original.
