“For this single, I wanted to find the best piece of material I could. I really want to deliver quality content to everyone I’ve met,” Justin explains. The writing team has collectively brought multiple format mainstays such as “Peter Pan” by Kelsea Ballerini, “Buy Me a Boat” by Chris Janson, “Lonely Tonight” by Blake Shelton, and “Remind Me” by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
The vivid lyric captures the essence of a breakup between coping, manipulation, and mind games in the hazy setting of a man’s favorite bar. “This is a new style of heartbreak song that conveys truth in a millennial’s world,” Justin says.
