Originally from Missoula, Montana, and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington, Sofia Boyden has been performing and writing songs since she was eight years old. Sofia has always believed that hard work pays off; when she graduated from high school, she earned her college degree at the same time. Sofia likes blues and soul, but her true love has always been country music.
Her country roots are on display in her premiere single, “Blame It on My Heart”. “I wanted to write a song that really tells what it feels like when you’re head over heels a lot quicker than expected”, she tells Pop Blitz Magazine. “This is a song for those people who go all in.” This newly released single has already been added to playlists around the world.
