New at Noon – The Band Steele “You’re Gonna Have to Miss Me”

The Band Steele (Bo Steele/Ben Rubino) is set to release its fifth single to country radio. The reflective, true-to-life track, “You’re Gonna Have To Miss Me,” spotlights a dream-chasing musician and his promise to “reach for the stars” amidst personal sacrifices and forfeiture of time spent with loved ones in a determined pursuit for a better life. The bittersweet emotion is heightened by contemporary electric guitar riffs intertwined with pedal steel and banjo; the rhythmic back drumbeat captures the heart and essence of a hopeful intended outcome.
“This track is about a career artist, or anyone who spends time on the road, with the hope to build a better future. It’s love story between chasing a dream and missing your family, and relying on their courage to stay strong through it,” said Ben Rubino. “When we embrace the reasons why we are pursuing the dream, it becomes a passion worth the sacrifice.”
“The sentiment of this song holds true for anyone whose career separates them from family,” added the duo’s lead vocalist, Bo Steele. “It’s very difficult to be away from family and a price is paid at the expense of love. It’s about sacrifices, the commitment and a promise to keep pushing through until the clouds part to see that it was all worthwhile. But, until then…’you’re gonna have to miss me’.”
