Beloit man receives maximum sentence for cold-case sexual assault of child

Nearly 20 years after committing sexual assault of a child, a Beloit man receives the maximum sentence for the crime. Rock County Judge Karl Hanson sentenced 42-year-old Jason Smith to 25 years of prison followed by 10
