“Tiny Town,” which was written by Michael Tyler Spragg and produced by Michael Knox, highlights everything there is to love about small towns and the people who live in them.
Though the former American Idol (Season 17) champ didn’t have a hand in writing the song, it serves as a nod to his upbringing in Livingston, Louisiana, which boasts a population of just 2,000.
“Where I’m from is just burnt into who I am,” the 20 year-old singer shared with Country Now. “It’s a permanent thing. It’s always gonna be there. And it’s what makes me happy. It’s where I get my inspiration. So all my influences come from Louisiana, and that’s what I put into my music.”
