Lauren Alaina latest single is the title track for 2020 EP, Getting Over Him. Jon Pardi makes an appearance on the track, a positive look at a rebound relationship. In the song, Alaina has been cheated on and looks for a “getting over him” guy, which Pardi plays. “I’ve got a duet with Pardi on his album, and then he loved this one,” Alaina explained in a statement. “His energy is so amazing. I can’t believe I have a rebound song – but I do.” “Getting Over Him” is among six other songs on the EP that Alaina co-wrote. “This EP of songs is all about loving myself through other people not loving me and not staying with me. It’s about me being able to get back to that same confident girl I wrote about…I get to celebrate that with this music, and I am so excited.”
