A Beloit nonprofit kicks off an annual holiday initiative.
For its 17th annual Holiday Project, Family Services of Southern Wisconsin is collecting holiday wish lists from its clients who are navigating various crises such as domestic violence or sexual assault.
Family Services takes those lists and solicits donations of goods, cash, gift cards and more.
In 2023, Family Services and volunteers were able to bring a touch of holiday cheer to 340 people in 128 families and is hoping to help more this year.
