For 17 years, Family Services of Southern Wisconsin has been providing holiday gifts for families facing domestic abuse, sexual assault, and financial difficulty.
By this time last year, they already had two-thirds of the families they support with their Holiday Project covered.
Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator Paige Allen says so far this year, they’ve only gotten enough contributions to help 20 of the 124 families that have signed up.
Family Services is seeking individuals, families, or businesses, to sponsor a family, make a financial contribution, or purchase individual gifts.
You can make a financial contribution on Family Services’ website. Individual gifts can be purchased from a wish list that will be posted on Family Services’ Facebook page starting Friday.
