The Rock County Arts Hall of Fame will welcome two new members next week.
The local arts community nominated and elected Laura Schuler and Tess Nguyen as this year’s honorees.
Schuler has been a musician and theater performer and director. She has also influenced future artists as a teacher at Parkview High School in Orfordville.
Nguyen has been involved with numerous local arts organizations over the years, including JPAC, the Janesville Art League and the Circle Arts Collective.
An induction ceremony will be at JPAC at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17. It will be free to attend, and there will be a cash bar in the JPAC lobby from 6 to 7.
