The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office is releasing the name of the 70-year-old Orfordville man who died last week following a single motorcycle crash in the town of Rock.
Rock County Sheriff’s deputies and the Janesville Fire Department responded to the intersection of South River Road and the ramp to the West Highway 11 bypass in the town of Rock a little before 9:00 p.m. on May 13th.
Investigation determined that Jeffrey R. Runaas lost control of his motorcycle and entered the west ditch.
Runaas was transported by ambulance to an area hospital and was later pronounced dead.
The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office says preliminary results of the autopsy indicate that Runaas died from injuries sustained in the crash.
