Cash bond is set at $100,000 for the 30-year-old Janesville man who police say intentionally crashed his car into a person driving a mini bike on May 12th.

Kade Larson is charged in Rock County Court with hit-and-run – causing great bodily harm, and two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.

According to the criminal complaint, two people were riding mini bikes through the parking lot at Pine Tree Plaza after getting gas at TA when a man who had “flipped them off” earlier began careening toward them in a gray Ford Taurus.

One of the riders jumped off of his bike to get out of the driver’s way, but the other was struck by the car and sent flying through the air before striking the front door at Famous Footwear.

Police developed Larson as a suspect after reviewing surveillance footage in the area and vehicle registration records for gray Ford Taurus’ in Rock County.

When Police made contact with Larson at his home they found his vehicle had front end damage and fabric matching the victim’s pants stuck in the front quarter panel.

Larson is due back in Rock County Court for an adjourned initial appearance on June 4th.
