Megan Moroney has released her latest single ‘6 Months Later,’ marking one of Moroney’s first new releases following her chart-topping sophomore album ‘Am I Okay?,’ which recently landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and earned Megan her first No. 1 at country radio.
‘6 Months Later’, co-written by Moroney alongside Ben Williams, David “Messy” Mescon, and Rob Hatch, and produced by longtime collaborator Kristian Bush, was recorded at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio. The track is the singer-songwriter’s latest single since “You Had To Be There,” a collaboration with Kenny Chesney that she wrote as a Christmas gift to him.
Moroney, 27, also appears in the music video for the track, wearing a hot pink robe and hot pink rollers. A ‘post-breakup’ Moroney channels-surfs in the clip, where she catches a commercial for the “Karma Now! Hotline,” which promises “GUARANTEED RESULTS IN 6 MONTHS” – prompting her to call and order her ‘revenge on-demand’ against her toxic ex.
