Beckman Mill Heritage Sunday

Heritage Sunday is on Sept.7th from 11-4 at Beckman Mill Park. The grinding process will begin at noon at the mill and continue throughout the day. Observe historic trade demonstrators such as blacksmithing, wood carvers, basket weavers, wool spinners, and others. Listen to live music, interact with a Civil War doctor, WWII, Revolutionary War living history displays, view collector show cars. Pulled pork sandwiches, ¼ pound all beef hot dogs, chips, pop, water, and pies and desserts will be sold. Special activities for kids include butter making, digging for potatoes, blacksmithing and corn shelling. The museum and gift shop will be open.
There is no admission charge, but donations are greatly appreciated. Help the Friends of Beckman Mill continue their 35 year endeavor to maintain the buildings and educate about bygone times. The park is located 5 miles west of Beloit off of HWY 81 on County Rd. H. Call 608-751-1551 for more information or look on Facebook.
