Luke Combs made history this week, becoming the first artist to land five consecutive #1 songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. According to the publication, Combs’ song “Beautiful Crazy” climbed from #2 to #1 this week, increasing by seven percent to 38.8 million audience impressions in the week ending February 24. The song also reached the summit in its 16th week, matching Combs’ quickest trip to #1, first achieved by his fourth leader, “She Got the Best of Me,” which reigned for four weeks starting last October. Combs also earned his second #1 on the airplay-, streaming- and sales-based Hot Country Songs chart, with “Beautiful Crazy” rising fro #2 to #1 in its 42nd week.
