In celebration of the 4th of July, Antonio Moraes released his new single “Bleed Red, White, and Blue.”
As an immigrant who can call the United States his home, Antonio Moraes releases a single in honor of the brave men and women that protect this great country. He honors the nation’s flag, a symbol of pride and freedom, in the best way that he can.
“More than ever, we have watched Americans expressing their right to free speech and their right to disagree. But, as we celebrate the anniversary of our independence, let’s also celebrate the one thing for which there is no room for disagreement. Let us take a moment and thank those who weren’t afraid to bleed Red, White and Blue.”
At just 20 years old, ANTONIO is already adept at drawing the listener into a song, and into a feeling. Just take a listen to his new single, BLEED RED, WHITE AND BLUE and you will see he is talented well beyond his years. In this song, the young artist exudes with confidence and passion as he sings a song dedicated to the American people and the American flag.
About Antonio:
Although born in Brazil, Antonio Moraes grew up in Texas on the family ranch. He enjoyed the country life with his father who was competing as a professional bull rider on the PBR circuit. Antonio grew up listening to Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard and soon developed a passion for country music. At the age of six, he began learning to play guitar, piano and drums. In 2008, Antonio’s father, Adriano, retired from bull riding as the only 3-time PBR world champion and the family moved back to Brazil. Leaving Texas only fueled Antonio’s love for country music. Soon after he finished high school, Antonio moved to Nashville in 2018 to continue chasing his dream of becoming a country music artist.
Music:
With four released singles in Brazil, Antonio’s first Nashville produced single, LET IT RIDE, was released on August of 2019. Shortly after, Antonio’s self-titled and debut EP put together six songs co-written by Antonio and Nashville based songwriters, including Hall of Fame inductee Marcus Hummon. Grammy award winner Ben Fowler produced the album that also features the song, “I’ll Never Leave”; a duet with Latin Grammy winner Paula Fernandes. 2020 began with the PBR inviting Antonio to record an English and a Portuguese version of this season’s anthem, BE COWBOY. A couple weeks ago, Antonio released a single that portrays his vision of this unprecedented time we are living. ANOTHER WAY reminds us that we should forget what separates us and start thinking about what can bring us together.
