The rain last night provides some relief from the dry conditions that sparked a burn ban earlier this week in Janesville.
Janesville Fire Marshal Nathan Simmons says the fire danger has gone from extremely high to low.
The City of Janesville lifted the burn ban at 11:00 Thursday morning.
Simmons says it’s still going to be windy, so if you are grilling or having a fire, exercise caution.
