Janesville Lions Club Chicken Roast

The Janesville Lions Club’s 11th annual Chicken Roast will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 in scenic Traxler Park in downtown Janesville.
Wait a minute … isn’t that a new date and location? Why, yes, it most certainly is!
Tickets are $13 in advance online or from any Lions Club member. Advance ticket holders are guaranteed a dinner anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Each dinner includes: One-half grilled chicken, baked potato, applesauce, and a roll. Soda and bottled water can be purchased separately.
As an added bonus, each ticket comes with a coupon for $5 off a $25 to-go purchase at Mac’s Pizza Shack!
Tickets are available on our website or from any Lions Club member. The price rises to $18 on the day of the event, so buy yours today!
This event will be held rain or shine. Eat your chicken dinner in the park, or drive-thru and carryout options will be available. We’ll also have some community-based organizations on hand with information, displays, and maybe even a few giveaways.
All proceeds support the Janesville Lions Club’s community programs and projects including vision-related services and assistance, scholarships for college-bound high school students, improvements to the Lions Beach facility and other local parks, and more
