PURPLE: American We Need to Talk Documentary Discussion

We will watch a short film capturing a small group of Americans with opposing viewpoints modeling what a healthy public discussion of contentious issues could look like, and coming to see some of the concerns and experiences behind each other’s positions.

Groups that have participated in the past have applauded the appreciation of “listening TO each other instead of listening THROUGH each other.”

We will continue to offer opportunities to use the principles we practice in this workshop, as Cargill confronts contentious issues that face us all.
