State Senator Mark Spreitzer is set to speak at the third annual Rock County LGBTQ+ educational summit. Spreitzer says as a gay man and the head of the Wisconsin LGBTQ+ Caucus, it is important for him to attend these types of events in order to support the LGBTQ+ community. Spreitzer will be discussing what is going on at the state and federal level. The Senator believes it is critical that powerful voices on the left speak out against attacks from those on the opposite side of the aisle. The summit will be held Monday, June 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Blackhawk Technical College.
