Justin Moore has added another major achievement to his résumé as “Time’s Ticking” reaches No. 1 on both the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart and Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The accomplishment gives him his 14th career chart-topper overall and his 11th leader on Billboard’s ranking, while also delivering the first-ever No. 1 hit for Blue Highway Records.

The track, from his 2024 album This Is My Dirt, was co-written with Will Bundy, Randy Montana, and Jeremy Stover. “It’s beyond exciting and humbling to celebrate our 14th No. 1 with ‘Time’s Ticking,’” shares Moore. “I was proud of the song when we wrote it. I’m thrilled to see it resonate with so many people out there to this extent. Thank you to my entire team, fans, and country radio for continuing the support of our music. We are excited for what’s next with new music and being out doing a tour with my buddy Riley Green. Cheers, and here’s to number 15!”

True to its name, the single took an unusually long route to the top, spending 67 weeks climbing the chart—one of the slowest ascents in recent country radio history. That steady rise reflects Moore’s consistent staying power, with nearly 70% of his songs reaching the top 10 and a large share of those eventually hitting No. 1. Since his 2008 debut, he has averaged a chart-topper roughly every 20 months.

“Justin Moore is a consistent country radio hitmaker, and this song is no exception,” Blue Highway’s Ashley Sidoti tells Billboard. “His music stays true to the core, no matter where the genre is swaying. We are incredibly proud to be celebrating his 11th Billboard No. 1 single and the very first No. 1 single for Blue Highway Records!”

The success of “Time’s Ticking” adds to a busy stretch for Moore. He recently released Greatest Hits… Moore To Come, a 17-song collection featuring fan favorites like “Small Town USA” and “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” along with collaborations such as the duet version of “Time’s Ticking” with Dierks Bentley and “You, Me, And Whiskey” with Priscilla Block.
