A Beloit man is being cited following a deadly three-vehicle crash in the City of Beloit. Police say the accident happened Monday night in the 14-hundred block of Madison Road. An initial investigation shows that a blue sedan rear-ended a tan sedan, causing it to veer into oncoming traffic, where it was hit by another vehicle. The 58-year-old man driving the tan vehicle was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the blue sedan was cited for following too closely, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and no vehicle registration. Further charges could be pending.
