A native of McCalla, Alabama, Ashla Taylor is a contemporary country-pop singer who released her debut EP, Truth Is…, in 2017. Taylor first started singing as a child, performing in the Pentecostal choir in her father’s church. Inspired by pop and R&B, she nevertheless gravitated to country, so she moved to Nashville as a young adult after graduating from Samford University. She starred as Shania Twain in the docudrama “The Price of Fame” on the Reelz Network.
