Cash bond is set at $1,500 for a Milwaukee woman accused of shooting up a home and a vehicle in Beloit following a lover’s quarrel with her girlfriend.

Jayla Sholar is charged in Rock County Court with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, carrying a concealed weapon, and criminal damage to property with use of a dangerous weapon.

According to the criminal complaint, Sholar turned up at her girlfriend’s house on the 800 block of Eighth Street in Beloit just before 7:30 p.m. on November 11th after the two had gotten into a physical altercation earlier that day.

Sholar is accused of using a rifle to shoot the back window of her girlfriend’s roommate’s vehicle, striking a home occupied by a family with two children in the process. She then dumped the rifle in a grassy area and Whitewater.

Sholar is due back in Rock County Court for an adjourned initial appearance on December 11th.
