Join Edgerton Hospital for a combined Earth Day and Arbor Day celebration focused on wellness, sustainability, and our Tree Campus Healthcare commitment through the Arbor Day Foundation!

This special event will feature engaging presentations focused on the importance of trees, sustainability, and the role of natural spaces in both healthcare and the broader community.

From 10:00am to 11:00am in Conference Room D:

Mark Dwyer, Healing Garden Manager at Edgerton Hospital, will present Tree Hugging 101: Why Trees Matter for Health and Healing. Mark will share how trees and natural environments support healing, wellness, and the patient experience.
Ethan Lee, Operations Director for the City of Janesville, will present Plant for Purpose – The Importance of Trees. Ethan will discuss the environmental, community, and long-term benefits of trees, along with recommendations for proper planting and care.
Following the presentations, guided tours of the Healing Garden and Woodland Trails will take place from 11:00am to 12:00 pm, weather permitting. Light refreshments and Earth Day–themed activities will be available.

This free event is open to staff and members of our community, but registration is required.
