Contest Rules:
- Contestants must be 18 years of age or older to play or win any prize.
- Final Giveaway Notice: All finalists must be present and checked in no later than 2 p.m. at the final giveaway event at Badger Bob’s Bar and Grill, W8497 County Rd A, Delavan, WI 53115 on Saturday, May 16, 2026 to be eligible to win the grand prize. The giveaway event will open at 1 p.m. No new qualifiers will be selected at the giveaway venue, though other prizes may be offered that are not associated with this contest.
- Grand Prize Description: The Grand Prize winner will receive up to $5000 in flooring products and services from Carpets Plus of Janesville and $5000 in home furnishing products from Janesville Comfort Shoppe, some restrictions may apply. The total prize value is $10,000 for tax purposes.
- The prize may not be redeemed for cash or credit and is not transferrable to any other individual. No cash or credit is offered on unused portions. No further rights to any warranty of any kind are assigned or implied. Winner shall consult prize sponsors for details.
- To play: Starting March 15, 2026, contestants can register at business locations (once per person/per day) as announced on participating “Big Radio” stations (WCLO, WJVL, WGEZ, WBEL, WWHG) and listed on the station website(s) for a chance to be randomly selected as a contest finalist. Potential contestants can also attend specially designated live broadcasts as publicized on-air and on station during which time a minimum of three additional ‘instant finalists’ will be selected from entries collected during the broadcast event only. Contestants may become a finalist only once during the entire promotional period. A total of 150 entrants will be invited as finalists (either from live broadcasts or drawn randomly from the cumulative entries received at participating businesses) to the Grand Prize Event. Finalists will be notified through the provided email address and/or telephone number of their potential winning status and will receive further instructions of the grand prize drawing only via that email address or telephone number.
- Employees and immediate family members of Big Radio (aka Ben Thompson and Scott Thompson) Badger Bob’s Bar and Grill, Janesville Comfort Shoppe and Carpets Plus of Janesville and other participating sponsors are not eligible to win. Immediate family includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.
- All decisions of Big Radio regarding the interpretation of rules, including but not limited to the execution of the contest, eligibility of contestants, and decisions regarding errors or omissions to the official rules, are final.
- By registering, you give Big Radio, Janesville Comfort Shoppe and Carpets Plus of Janesville the authorization to use your name, photo, video or voice recording, likeness or social media posts in promotional materials without further compensation. You also authorize Janesville Comfort Shoppe and Carpets Plus of Janesville to include your entry information on their in-house mailing list. Entry information will not be sold or offered to any other businesses.
- Big Radio reserves the right to disqualify any entry not conforming to the rules of the promotion at any time.
- Big Radio and its contest and promotional partners assume no responsibility for fraud committed by any entrant. In the event it is determined that an ineligible entrant wins a prize, Big Radio reserves all rights to the ownership and return of the prize and all costs associated with remedying any prize award to an ineligible entry or entrant.
- Janesville Comfort Shoppe and Carpets Plus of Janesville, Big Radio and their parent and subsidiary companies and participating sponsors are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize. The same entities make no claim as to the condition of the prize on the date of giveaway and offer no warranty or other guarantees regarding acceptance of the prize.
- Winner is responsible for any taxes or fees associated with winning the prize, including but not limited to federal and state income tax, state sales tax, title and license fees.
