Maddie and Tae have teamed up with Dierks Bentley for their brand-new track, “Lay Here With Me.” The three-minute ballad also appears on their latest EP, Everywhere I’m Goin’, which also dropped on Friday. Taste of Country calls “Lay Here With Me” a “traditional-leaning country ballad” that “juxtaposes the duo’s crystalline harmonies against Bentley’s gruff vocal character to great effect.” Maddie Marlow adds in a statement, “We are so excited to keep telling our story through this next collection of songs. We are so proud to have co-written all of these songs as well. This project as a whole is super personal, but these five songs in particular take you on an even deeper dive into our lives.”
Maddie & Tae are curently on the road alongside Runaway June as support acts on Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360, which continues through Oct. 31.
