A Transportation & Logistics Career Expo will be held on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Rock County Job Center at 1900 Center Ave., Janesville, WI. There will be 10 employers present, as well as one training provider, for people who are interested in Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) training. In addition, job center representatives will be present to provide information on job center programs that can assist with training such as Foodshare Employment and Training (FSET) and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) employment and training programs.

Those attending will have opportunities to talk to area companies that have immediate job openings and be able to see trucking equipment and school demonstrations and be able to ask questions.

As of April 1, companies participating include Advanced Disposal, DDH Transport, DeLong Co., Go Riteway, Kaiser Transport, Kobussen Buses, Lycon, McLane, Schneider, Upper Lakes Foods, and trainer Blackhawk Technical College.
