Written by Ashley Gorley, Michael Hardy and Mark Holman, Swindell originally released the track in late May, viewing it as a consolation prize for fans disappointed in his tour’s COVID-19 postponement. But with a swift reaction that propelled the track into the Top 10 of iTunes’ country chart, he’s now sending it to radio stations around the nation.
“Single Saturday Night” follows the #1 success of “Love You Too Late” as the potential first taste of a new album project. Swindell plans to finish up his postponed Down To Earth Tour October 1 with hometown show in Macon, Georgia, but has to wait until 2021 to join Thomas Rhett’s Center Point Road Tour.
